No, this is not shipping art. These two aren’t exactly BFF’s, but since the rest of the KOP gang each got a set of friend paring doodles, I thought these two deserved just as much.

These are also the two tallest ponies in the KOP gang. Coincidence?


1. Sonata draws, paints, or sculpts pretty much anything that catches her fancy and she loves to experiment with all sorts of ideas and projects. One time, Sonata became randomly inspired to draw a hunk looking all dramatic and brave and stuff. Who better to pose for that than the residential buff boi, Dusty! It didn’t take much to persuade him. Despite the difficult process, it was worth it to see Sonata happy, as well as the painting, which turned out fabulous.


2. Hmmm….looks like two mysterious Secret Santa’s decided to conspire together to get their adopted Mom/Dad friends matching sweaters. Who ever could those two be? Oh well, who ever they are, they better pray they escape the destructive wrath of Sonata ̶w̶h̶i̶c̶h̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶a̶ ̶l̶i̶t̶t̶l̶e̶ ̶b̶i̶t̶ ̶e̶x̶a̶g̶g̶e̶r̶a̶t̶e̶d̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶d̶r̶a̶m̶a̶t̶i̶c̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶h̶u̶m̶o̶r̶o̶u̶s̶ ̶e̶f̶f̶e̶c̶t̶.̶


3. Dusty always keeps a look out for his friends, so when he doesn’t see Sonata venture from her studio for six days, he checks up on her. Only to find the worn out mare buried underneath yet another project that was too big for her to chew. Dusty’s great when it comes to persuading ponies to take a break for a cup of hot apple cider, for which Sonata is greatful for and accepts with little protest.


4. What do you get when you put a hunk of a farm boy with a black belt judo mare? Why, Hoof Wrestleing of course! Most of which Sonata does not win, due to Dusty’s great muscle strength and stamina. But boy, does Sonata put up a fight. However, what Sonata lacks in raw muscle strength, she makes up for in speed and precision and she could totally flip Dusty over in a judo match. But since she doesn’t want to hurt her soft boi, they stick to good ole fashioned Hoof Wrestling.

Occasionally, when the rest of the gang watches, they place friendly little bets on who will win. For some reason Pansy wins most of them.



Sonata’s in her older teens while Dusty is more around the middle, but you can tell due to the two being extremely tall for their age.
