Guest Author's Note: "If Equestria was released as a campaign setting, I would assume that the Mane Six would be offered as example characters, so that players who are just being introduced to the game or setting can jump right in. It's a well-balanced party and has a character for every kind of D&D player. And, you know, ponies. But that's just a bonus."
Newbiespud's Note: This is Episode 1 of a five-part series, a crossover with another campaign comic called Dungeon Master Effect.

DM: Hush. Greg, what about you?
Applejack: I’m Applejack, the earth pony ranger! My animal companion is –
DM: Actually, rangers don’t get animal companions in 4th edition. At least, not by default. Are you a beastmaster?
Rainbow: Wait, we’re playing 4th edition now?
