"Okay Sunfyre, we're almost there."

"Oh joy. I can hardly wait."

"You sound very excited my friend."

"I'm being sarcastic Valour Flame. Now can you untie me from your back & take off this blindfold?"

"Can't do that until we arrive. Besides, you mom said you'll likely hightail it out of here if I do that. Just relax and enjoy the ride on Air Valour."

"I can't enjoy anything if I'm being force to."

Valour Flame was an enthusiastic & energetic Hippogriff who had enjoyed his time in Equestria meeting all sorts of creatures. Ever since leaving his home of the Mount Aris/Seaquestria area he wanted to see the realms for himself, to learn all he can about the world & establish as many friendships as he can. One such friendship he has is with Sunfyre, a Pegasus Pony who loves to race. While not as fast in the air like Rainbow Dash & Spitfire, he was more of a runner than a flyer.

Both met in school & had hit it off almost immediately. As time went on they're bond grew as much friendships do in Equestria. However, recently Valour has seen a change taken place in Sunny, in which the usually upbeat stallion becoming more insecure, but not by his choice. Val had kept quiet about it, but he has been wanting to break Sunny from it. Which brings us to here.

"Okay Sunboy, we're here!" Valour lands and begins to unstrap Sunny from his back & untied his binds. He removes the blindfold just as Sunfyre says, "Great, where are we?"

"Welcome to Mount Aris." Sunfyre looked around and saw some Hippogriffs & Seaponies frolicking around near the shoreline. Some were talking, others playing and enjoying themselves.

"Val…you do remember we've been here before, right?"

"Yeah. When we were just little kids. I can remember you calling my father a giant compare to Princess Celestia."

"Good times back then. Um…why did you bring me here anyway?", Sunfyre asked with a questionable look on his face.

Valour put his arm around him & said, "This here my friend is where you will be reborn." Confused, Sunfyre asks, "Reborn? What are you talking about?"

"We're going to open you up and take way your insecurity." Sunfyre looks at him with an unimpressed demeanor. "Look, I know its been rough for you ever since your trip to the beach during the Summer, & I thought this would be good for you. You know, to open up and talk. And I figured why not bring you here where the atmosphere is more refreshing?"

"Its a good idea Val, and I'm charmed. Now if where done, can I go home now?"

"What? But we just got here."

"Yes, and now I like to go home now."

"Now Sunny, we can't leave now. As your official insecure relief therapist, its my duty to help you."

Unimpressed, Sunfyre murmurs, "My insecure relief therapist?"

"Yep. We're going to relieve you of your shyness & self-doubt to the world." Sunfyre was looking more disgruntle & irritated. "Ah, I see you're showing your insecurity complex again."

"No, what your seeing is my impatience to my dorky Hippogriff friend complexity to let me go home complex…again."

Valour Flame chuckles & says, "Ah, hesitant & defiant. Mrs. Gail Wyndstrom & Wyldfyre did warn me you would show those signs. I'm so eager to get you started on our therapy session."

A disgruntle Sunfyre says, "You're not going to let me go home anytime soon are you?" All Valour Flame does is show a highly enthusiastic smile, confirming Sunfyre's thoughts. "Horse feathers…", the irritated red Pegasus says.

I'm hoping to start a series arc involving Sunfyre & Valour Flame in which Sunny's insecurity is shown to be a great weakness for him, stemming from a certain event that took place in an old headcanon I had a few years back & Valour working his way to get Sunny to open up once again by simply just embracing him. For Sunfyre, it doesn't seem to help & he just wants to be left alone, not realizing little by little Valour's embracing method is slowly bearing fruit. Though there may be an 'unexpected twist', somewhere in the future. For now that's all I can say.
