Thanks to some of the shorts, especially Cheer You On, it's pretty much cannon for me that Flash and Sunset are a couple again. But I also think that, being a pony originally, Suset is like really physically affectionate. Ponies nuzzle and hug a LOT more than humans do. So I could see Sunny just casually leaning on, cuddling, and even nuzzling Flash at like the drop of a hat, even in public.
