Here it is showing Tempest Shadow and Twilight Sparkle, and 2 very different fates for both of them

Above, is Tempest Shadow as a royal guard, after being redeemed and taught friendship by Twilight, now staying on the side of good as thanks for Twilight helping to show her the error of her ways

And below, a bad end to the movie, where Twilights friends were not able to save her and proves Tempest's point about friendship failing her, now breaking her worldview and being Tempest's lackey as the Storm King takes over Equestria

Regardless of what happens to them, fate seems to find a way to make sure they are together…
