Alias and implication requests

I removed the "snake" tag from most lamia-tagged images, leaving it on images where it was unclear whether or not an ordinary snake was meant or where there were both lamias and ordinary snakes. In line with this, I also reduced the twilight snakle tag to only cover cases where it was either unclear what was meant or where she was actually just a snake and not a lamia.

I did, however, discover several tags that should be updated or aliased:

character:tirek → character:lord tirek
king vorak → character:king vorak
queen haydon → character:queen haydon
centaur → species:centaur
gargoyle → species:gargoyle

More ship tags. As usual, I took care of creating the "new" tags and updating their implications.

thoralestia → ship:thoralestia (Thorax + Princess Celestia)
lunarynx → ship:lunarynx (Princess Luna + Pharynx)

Some more ship tags:

twerpy → ship:twerpy (Twilight Sparkle + Derpy)
derpypie → ship:derpypie (Derpy + Pinkie Pie)
tripy → ship:tripy (Trixie + Derpy)

Another ship tag:

rainlestia → ship:rainlestia

pipp petals → character:pipp petals
Strangely enough the rest of the mane 5 have aliases except her.

I suggest that auntie twilight, best aunt ever, and twilight is bae be aliased into each other, since they all refer to Twilight as an aunt (and usually a good one). At the very least the last two should be aliased into each other.

Also, the following should be aliased into each other:

princess skyla → character:princess skyla
princess gold lily → character:princess gold lily
princess sterling → character:princess sterling

Is there any particular reason we have both demon and devil tags? I'm not clear on the difference, considering that we're not playing D&D…

I think racoonkun is an alias for racoonsan. They have identical art styles and the pixiv archive linked to in the description of the one image under the former tag is the source of many images for the latter tag.

Another ship:

gildalane → ship:gildalane (Gilda + Thunderlane)

character:white lightning and character:lightning bolt seem to be aliases for each other; they have exactly the same number of images, which all appear to be exactly the same.

This isn't really the place for that, but I would go through the list of characters with less than, say, 1000 images (you can searching "character:*" on the tags page; they're sorted by the number of images under that tag) and pick one for whom some idea appeared.

Anyway, moon-fall should be aliased to comic:moon-fall

I also created the tag ship:darkwind to replace darkwind, but as there was only one image tagged with this ship I just removed the old tag from that image and added the new one (along with adding it to a second image that had the ship as well)

rainbow dork and egghead dash should be aliased into each other, since they mean the same thing. I like egghead dash better, but rainbow dork has more images.

Also, there's a large number of suggestions for aliasing in the character thread that don't seem to have been looked at in a while, should I repost them here?

Seems like oversight on our part, specially if someone thought they had to make a new thread for characters.
