I'd like to make it better so don't use this one, I'm mostly just sharing to get my idea out there. I edited this on ibisPaint x so I didn't have the standard fonts typical art programs have :P

Yeah, that's kind of why I want to redo it. I'm just not sure what screencap would fit however.. I'll think of something and come back to it!

Maybe it's because all the other ones so far have been screencaps but the solid white-ish background makes it feel a bit bland. I'm sure it's actually fine, the idea is very good.

The spoiler thumbnail for Politics finally updated for me, though much like Pony Life it looks fine. If nothing else comes up feel free to any additional ones you have inspiration for, or just provide a template for other people.

okay I guess it's just firefox being weird because they still haven't changed even after clearing the cache but I can see them on my phone and on chrome

I cleared the CloudFlare cache of the spoiler image, that should do it. You may need to clear your browser's local cache.

Yeah, I also see the wrong thumbnail still, sadly there's nothing else I can do. If someone is already seeing the updated thumbnail, they can share a screencap of it for you. I will now set the Pony Life one too, that one would be brand new instead of a replacement and might update faster.

EDIT: Yep, that one changed immediately for me. For Politics we will have to wait, but at least now everyone should see the second design in action.

the image should be set correctly, if you still see the "wrong" image, either cloudflare still has the image in its cache for your region (just wait a day or so), or your webbrowser still has it cached (just try a refresh of the website).
It looks all good now here for me on my desktop, but my smartphone still has the "old" image cached.

it looks like the image for the politics tag got updated, but not the one for when a spoiler actually appears in the list of images

That's great! Glad the test run was useful. I will now update the spoiler image of Politics with your new one, and see if anything else comes up.

okay well I ended up re-doing them

looking at it in context it seemed like it needed something to stand out more as a spoiler instead of just another image so I added a border kind of thing to it. also I forgot to take into account the little black bar that shows up when it's actually a spoiler so I changed up the logo in the corner to accommodate that a bit better
